Current Job Opportunities
 Opportunity - Lead role within healthcare strategy firm.
Healthcare focused, corporate and competitive strategy firm is looking to recruit a practice lead for their provider practice. The details are as follows:
11 year old strategy firm in Chicago that does corporate and competitive strategy work is looking for an MD/MBA (or MD/Strategy consultant) to take a lead role in their provider practice.
They mainly hire consultants from the large strategy houses (Bain, Booz Allen, BCG, McKinsey) and have a very sharp team
The firm does C-level/board level strategy work with Payers, provider systems and medical device companies (Aetna, Kaiser, The Blues, HCA, Roche, McKesson...etc)
The firm has a low-travel model because they don't do ops work.
They are competitive with compensation with the large strategy houses.
I would love to speak to any MD's with consulting experience about this role (or a couple of related opportunities).

Quality (AHRQ) : Summer Internship opportunities in Washington, DC working on Health Policy.
American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Health Policy
Internship with the student-arm of the American Medical Association in Washington, DC. Internships are designed to cater
to your specific policy interest. The internships are available year-round and are unpaid but free housing can be arranged.
Colorado Alliance for Bioengineering: This
program provides year-round biotech internships to business students who attend participating schools (in Colorado).

Center for Medicare Advocacy: Summer
Internships available to graduate students working on health policy as it related to Medicare and Medicaid. The internship
takes place in Washington, DC and according to their website, "The position carries a small stipend, and the internships
offer tremendous first-hand experience in health law." Please make sure to apply early since they only have two spots
and the internship takes place during the summer. Their website provides a student account of their experience at the
